In its ongoing efforts to pretend that the Streisand Effect does not exist (at least for them), Summitt has decided to pursue its legal rights and go all out to prosecute the hackers who stole unfinished video clips and images from the Breaking Dawn Parts 1 and 2 films.
The original hacking happened some months ago, and we here at Twilight News Site were much relieved to see a request from Summit — that seemed to be very clearly written (in part) by Stephenie Meyer herself — that we simply not talk about it. Given the support we fan sites have had for the series, literally every site I know of (a lot) complied. For myself, I was much relieved; the brief flash of extremely poor quality images I saw on Perez Hilton’s site (long since removed) sickened me. I have been very happy to not talk about the situation at all here on the Twilight News Site.
I knew that the true fan sites would comply with Stephenie’s request, and that would be that. For once, Summit’s lawyers didn’t seem to be running the show, the Streisand Effect was undermined, not supported, and fans would quickly forget about the issue — especially since the actual finished film will be released in a matter of weeks.

Midnight Sun Rant!
I am really annoyed that Midnight Sun in no longer going to be published/not published for ages.
I think that the person who leaked the manuscript should be tracked down and punished.
Midnight Sun would've have been epic when it was completed, but thanks to someone, so many peoples hopes have been crushed. I was really looking forward to reading the completed version and know someone has screwed up that chance for everbody.
